READING
COUNTS:
Desert
Sage Elementary School is challenging all Desert Sage
students to READ, READ, READ through a special Reading
Counts incentive program. All points accumulated will
be used to shop at the Reading Counts Store. The Reading
Counts Store will have items of different point values.
The points may be spent or accumulated for the next
Reading Counts Shopping Spree."Great" prizes
can be earned by all!
The
Reading Counts program works as follows:

Students
select books to read from a recommended book list
(see lists below).

The RC system assigns a point value to each book.

Once the student reads the book, he or she goes
to the computer and takes a test over the book.

The computer scores the test and awards the student
points based on test performance.
